Most Canadian growers and dealers are unarmed

 According to Professor Susan Boyd, most Canadian growers and dealers don’t even have guns.

“In fact, only 6% of the cases included in the study were reported to have firearms on site, which is only slightly higher than the 5.5% of the Canadian population overall that has valid firearms licenses.”
